Commodity Objects

Historical Commodity Prices API

To request the historical price of a specific commodity, include the mandatory parameter “name” in the API URL path.

				
					https://api.commoditic.com/api/v1/commodities_history?key=[API-KEY]&name=gold

Use the “date_from” and “date_to” parameters to specify the time period.

				
					https://api.commoditic.com/api/v1/commodities_history?key=[API_KEY]&frequency=day&date_from=2017-01-01&date_to=2018-06-01

Use the “frequency” parameter to specify the interval (can be “daily” or “monthly”).

				
					https://api.commoditic.com/api/v1/commodities_history?key=API_KEY&name=zincs&frequency=month
